A message about Self-Growth

Today, as you start or continue your mental health & wellness journey, I want to send you over an important reminder that so often gets forgotten.  

You see, it’s easy to get caught up in this wonderful cycle of learning, researching and googling new information, that it can leave us craving for more without even realizing just how far we’ve already come.  When you’re constantly on the search for more and more, it can sometimes hamper your ability to take notice of the progress that you are already achieving.  You may be working harder to achieve bigger & better, while in the process losing sight of some awesome changes that may already be happening in your current day life. 

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with pushing yourself and striving for bigger and better.  It’s important however, to never forget that there’s more to just reaching your goal.  There’s in-between progress that should always be given attention.  By taking notice of these in-between progresses, this will allow you to reach more of a continuous level of contentment that so often will fuel your motivation and drive to continue to do your best.  
 

Whether big or small, any change can and will make a difference.  The change can be something like a shift in your mindset, a different approach to managing conflicted relationships, letting go of someone or something that no longer adds value to your life, the start-up of a new task or challenge, changing the way that you talk to yourself, adding extra steps to your day, or swapping out an unhealthy meal for a healthier one.   Change is change, regardless of how big or small it is. 

So today, I encourage for you to take notice of all that you have done to get you to where you are today.  Keep working on you and on creating the life you desire.
